The three mini grades U/6 – U/7 and U/8 are all improving and having fun – our U/8 wearing new shirts and jackets thanks to their two new sponsors – St George Mechanical and BBS building and landscape supplies – All mini players came home from the St. George Mini Gala with new St. George T. Shirts.
U/9 and U/10 – Improving with each game – both sides did well in the Craig Rimmer Mod Knockout – the 9’s just missing the final and the 10’s after a great day at Cahill in the qualifying rounds – went down in the Final at Hurstville the following day – Well done to both teams and their staff
U/11 and U/12 – Still sticking together these two teams. – With the 11’s are looking forward to the A and B Division split where they will have a happy last few weeks of the season. With so many new boys still learning they can only improve – The 12’s with small numbers and the help of the 11’s are sitting in 5th space – a wonderful achievement - well done boys.
U/13 and U/14 – Both these sides with so many new players have improved greatly and have had a few good wins or close calls – both are now in the B. Division split and will be hard to beat in this division – The U/13 have new kit bags thanks to Renault Eurodrive and the U/14’s have new shirts ordered thanks to Pizza Paradiso
U/15 – With some very classy wins the U/15’s are sitting in 6th spot and hoping that when the division split comes next week that they will be graded A – just reward for the improvement in their football this year.
U/16 – In second place in Division A – they are a talented team and play great football – the next few weeks will see them play hard games each week against very strong opposition. These games will be worth going to watch – This is the U/16’s year
U/17 – As last year the longer the season goes the better this side plays – at the moment they are looking good to make it two premierships in a row – they seem to start each season slow and then build up as each week gets closer to the Semi’s.
U/19 – This talented side is starting to play good football too late in the season to reach the Semi’s of the A. Division – however if graded B they will be hot favourites to take out the competition as they are only 4 points behind the 5th placed team. Injuries to key players has not helped them string wins together.
A Grade – At last playing good football with two top wins in the last two weeks, they now face the task of having to win most of their remaining games for a Semi Spot – they are capable of doing this – good club spirit was shown two weeks ago when 5 of
