Glenys,
Last night I was at my Mum’s house going through the old photo albums with my brother Craig. She had a photo with Craig feeding the ball into the scrum with you as the coach.
That had to be over 40 years ago. You are still there. Rugby League could not survive without dedicated people like yourself. You are truly a legend in the game.
I played with Arncliffe Scotts in the U10s,U11,U12,U13 & U15.I learned to play rugby league at Scotts and loved the trips to Queanbeyan. I am still in contact with the Dyer family who I billited with during those trips.
Rugby League Carreer 7 years with the Bulldogs & 2 years with the Illlawarra Steelers
Played in the 1979 Grandfinal & for NSW that year against Great Britain.
Scored the first try in first grade for the Steelers(A bit of Trivia)
If you are going to organise in the future a Scotts renuion I would love to come.
Thank to you & Percy for introducing Rugby League to myself and my two brothers.
Regards Greg Cook
